Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Account Executive to manage full-spectrum accounting functions, banking facilities, and statutory compliance. The role offers hands-on exposure to financial reporting, cash flow management, and liaison with banks, auditors, and authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts, including daily transactions, AP/AR review, and bank reconciliation.
- Manage company cash flow, petty cash, and payment arrangements; provide timely updates to Management.
- Oversee banking and financing matters, including Bank Acceptance (BA), Hire Purchase (HP), Term Loan (TL), Overdraft (OD), and Letter of Credit (LC).
- Maintain loan and hire purchase schedules, BA purchases, interest calculations, and installment payments.
- Prepare month-end closing, provisions, and periodic financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet).
- Ensure accurate SST preparation and submission; handle SST audits and investigations when required.
- Liaise with bankers, auditors, sales team, and relevant authorities on financial and documentation matters.
- Maintain proper documentation, accounting records, and system data integrity.
- Assist in annual audit and prepare management or ad-hoc financial reports.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Management.
Job Requirement
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of full set of accounts, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
- Familiar with SST preparation, submission, and audit handling.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and strong sense of responsibility.
- Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Immediate or short notice period will be an added advantage.
